Wow we are finally back in business

I just posted a few photos there will be more to come. I can't believe it's been two months since we had the pc. None the less we have it back now and I will get on the ball and will be posting all of the happenings as they happen.
*SMILE*
We have been quite busy I just started a little business from home. buying storage units that are up for auction and reselling there contents on craigslist. it has been fun and financially beneficial. Jeremy sold his mustang. he realized he didn't have the time or money it needed. I am glad to have my garage back but can't wait for the day when we do have the money for him to get a PROJECT car. we are getting ready to go back east to visit my family for two weeks the end of the month and can't wait I miss my dad and the rest of my family very much and can't wait for them to spend some time getting to know the girls.

I hope that everyone is doing well and we love you and miss you all very much

Sweet Jaya

She is such a sweet girl. She is developing quite the little personality. You can see how well her eyes are doing she still focuses to the side but she's making it work for her and we praise god for that.

Here is a picture of the girls with our good friend Andy

Our friend Andy blesses us with worship on Thursdays when we have a mini bible study with him and his wife and as you can see the girls love it. they may not always be cooperative but they love it *SMILE*

Over a Month

I can't believe how long it's been. Our PC became infected with a horrible virus that we were not able to cure. So for the last month we have been using a dinosaur laptop that you can only do very minimum stuff on, putting pictures on our blog is not one of them. Anyways it has been a very eventful month. we have gone sea kayaking, fed homeless, watched a mariners game at safeco field last night. we started a bible study in our home with one of the couples from our mini church group. I start with mops this week as well as working with one of the local outreaches for the low income children in our community I am very excited about both of these. Jeremy is getting ready toleave for the weekend for a mens retreat and bible study I know that he will be blessed. We have both truly been blessed beyond measure. Jeremy and I have both lost 30 pounds each, we are feeling much healthier and have been much more active. Jaya had her six week post op appt yesterday and the doctor decided to wait for 6 months and re- evaluate and decide then if he wants to operate a 2nd time. Jaya is just doing amazing you can't even tell she has a vision issue unless you look at her eyes. but you wouldnever know by watching her get around. Miah just went bareback horseback riding yesterday it was so much fun to see she was a real natural. sorry for the lack of new pics and postings but until our pc is fixed there will be no new pics. god has been so good to us. we love you all and miss each of you very dearly.

A Day At The Park

Jaya Lee playing in the water with grandma.
Jaya with all of the kids surrounding her,
They all wanted a turn pushing her.

Miah in concentration mode.
Climbing on the big toys what a big girl!
Miah makes new friends wherever we go!

We took the girls to this park that has a huge play area and these little water spouts that shoot up water. It was so fun to watch Miah she just make friends wherever we go. And Jaya too it is like kids are just drawn to her, she just loves the attention. A lot of the kids there were asking about her eye and asking why her eyes were the way they were it made my heart sad. I fear that as she gets older if kids make comment or ask questions like that, that it will hurt her. She has such and amazing spirit and joy about her I don't ever want to see it get broken. We have so much fun at the park the girls are so much fun to watch the way they take in everything around them and to see Jaya try and explore new things. I was a little camera happy but was able to get some really great pictures and video of them.

Afternoon At The Barn

He was happy to be out playing!

Look at that face she loves him!

After Jaya's dr appointment we went with Tali to go out and check on Her horsey Hesed. Who also had surgery last week to remove an abscess in his sinus cavity. He was quite the little or big trooper. Jaya just loved him I was surprise she isn't always sure about animals. She sure didn't mind horsey. It was a nice way to end a stressful morning. Thanks Tali.

One Week Post Op

Jaya had her first post op appointment today. I was hoping that everything would be good and the doctor would be pleased. The doctor thinks that the condition was over corrected and if after the swelling and bruising goes down the eyes aren't centered Jaya will need to go in for a second surgery. This was discouraging I hope that we made the right decision by trying to correct this problem for her. We will be praying for god's hand to supernaturally correct the straightness of her eyes without going back in for surgery. Please be praying with us.

Sunday at Grandma and Poppa's

I just love them!

Look at that smile it's the best! Awww...... what a cutie!

We had a nice evening and turkey dinner . We were able to spend some time with grandma and poppa. The girls just love it over there. There's so much to do and they don't get in trouble for anything, I guess that's what grandma's and poppa's are for.

Jaya's Cool Sunglasses

I just love this she was actually keeping them on. Her eyes are pretty sensitive to light right now, so she didn't mind keeping them on.

Comments

I went ahead and changed the settings so that anyone who wants to comment and doesn't have an account will be able to I hope this make it more convenient for everyone

The Morning After

I think that my emotions are going kind of crazy. Last night I woke up with Miah at 2 am until around 4 or 5. She was complaining of a stomache ache and had a really high fever, I thinks she has a bug so we are trying to keep the two girls apart so Jaya doesn't have to deal with that too. I am still worried about the healing process for Jaya Her right eye looks worse to me today than it did yesterday so that made me nervous. I called the clinic to talk to one of the nurses. I sent her a few pictures from today to see what they thought. It looked to me like the bloody area was covering part of the iris, after I called I really took a close look and you can still see a white line between the red and blue so I think my call was a little premature. I suppose us moms are kind of that way. I think she is fine and I need to just calm down and quit worrying so much. She is running around the house bouncy and joyful. We praise god for that.

OUCH!

Here are some of the photo's after we got home. The doctor says not to look at them. That they will be looking a lot better in a few days.

Jaya's Big Surgery

This is a good picture to bad it's a little cut off.

We had the nurse try this time.

She really liked this nurse and her princess wand.

Well today was totally nerve wracking for a mother. Thank god for Jeremy and the peace he carries with him. It was a good day. The staff at Childrens Hospital was amazing from start to finish each person that was going to be helping to care for Jaya came in and personally introduced themselves to us and spent a few minutes telling us what their roles would be, this made us confident and more comfortable. Jaya got a little cranky just before surgery, (I think it was because she hadn't eaten anything for almost twenty hours prior), but they gave her a little muscle relaxer cocktail. She was pretty silly, she would pick up her head and just let it fall back in my arm. She would do the same with her limbs it was really funny. Then the anesthesiologist came to take her to the O R and put her under and give her the IV. Thats when the waiting began. The surgeon said the procedure would take about an hour, being the mother that I am at one hour and eight minutes I began to feel nervous and sick to my stomache. We checked with the nurse and everything was going well, but she was still in the operating room. To hear that she was doing well calmed me down for a little while. She finally came out of surgery one hour and fifty minutes later, but we couldn't see her until she woke up which was another hour and 20 minutes (It felt like forever). The doctor said that everything went really well. And he was very pleased to see how well her corneas were looking. He also said that we made the right decision opting out of the transplant when she was younger. We have a follow appointment next week. I am so grateful to have her back in my arms, now we are praying for a speedy recovery. Her eyes appear very painful and bloody, She has been a real trooper. She is slightly fussy but doing very well, still very tired. We thank everyone who has been praying for her and for us. We knew that god was there with us.

Finger painting

This is Miah finger painting the day before she got her first haircut I need to get a picture of it to show everyone it is soooo cute! Boy does she love to paint anything to get messy that's my girl we like these paints alot they are a ton of fun and clean up super easy. She is teaching her sister how to paint too, but Jaya prefers to use her feet *SMILE*

Backyard Fun

Here is a picture of Jaya and Jairus taken by Nita I just love her pictures and these kids!

Surgery

I am getting very nervous as we are nearing wed the 1st. Jaya is going in to Childrens Hospital in Seattle, to have the muscles in the back of her eye operated on. I am told that this is a very common run of the mill surgery, but none the less I am nervous she will have to be put under for a few hours and I will have to let her go with the doctors alone. I don't like not being able to be there and hold her hand through it all, but I understand. I have been praying alot about it and so have many of the people from our church and family, we will all continue to pray her through the surgery. She is a gift from god, and I know that she is going to be just fine. I guess sometimes you just can't help but worry.

Physical Therapy

Jaya's physical therapist just left. She has been in Israel on a mission trip for the past few weeks, so she was very excited to see that Jaya was walking all over the place. She says that she is doing extremely well and she doesn't know if Jaya will continue to need a physical therapist. Very Cool. However for now she will still have her vision and occupational therapist. So we are very happy with how well she is doing!

Jeremy's Work Picnic

We went to Jeremy's work picnic on Saturday and the weather was great not too hot so we were really able to enjoy it. The girls enjoyed ice cream and face painting. While Jeremy and I were able to enjoy a little sumo wrestling. This was so much fun. Jeremy says that marriage certificates should come with a sumo set. It was a great way to get out some extra energy and really enjoy the time together.

The New Narrows Bridge

This was a very exciting piece of history that our little family was able to share with grandma Carol. It was an extremely hot day and we took the bus to the bridge with both girls, it was quite an ordeal getting to the bridge but the views from the bridge were well worth it. It was amazing to walk across the bridge and to remember the bridges that had been there before. The girls both had alot of fun once we made it through the crowds and onto the bridge.

Welcome

I would like to thank my incredible sister in law for sharing yet another one of her amazing ideas with me. I am very excited to do this Blog for all of our family in Massachusettes and Michigan, and Texas who we love and miss so very much and don't get to see often enough. I hope that this will allow all of you to enjoy and share in the precious moments of our growing family. I will try and keep you all up to date with what is new in our lives. I hope that everyone enjoys seeing these times as much as I am enjoying sharing them with all of you.
